Common health issues: what the evidence actually studied

This guide maps 66 common health issues to the potential benefits and compounds studied for each, graded by the strength of the evidence — from strong human trials through to preclinical signals and, just as importantly, where the evidence is insufficient or negative. It exists so researchers can choose materials based on what has actually been studied, not on marketing claims.

Research cut-off: 30 September 2026. This is a research reference for laboratory materials, not medical advice and not a recommendation for human use.

How to read it

Evidence is graded per condition, not per compound

A compound can have strong human evidence for one condition and insufficient evidence for another. The guide grades each compound against each specific issue, so "none established" is reported as honestly as a strong result.

Strong / moderate human evidence

Persuasive or reasonably supportive human clinical data for the stated population and outcome.

Limited or mixed human evidence

Human data exists but with material limitations, inconsistency, or narrow applicability.

Preclinical only

Animal or laboratory findings only. A mechanism to investigate — not evidence of human benefit.

Insufficient or negative

No convincing benefit found, or larger trials found against benefit. Reported as plainly as positive results.

The members' guide includes, for every condition: the compounds studied with per-condition evidence grades, human and preclinical findings, combination evidence, relevant nutritional context, and links to the cited sources — plus a guided compound selector that ranks candidates by evidence strength.
