Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, email, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, account information, order history, transaction details, business or organisation details, research or institutional credentials where required, communications, support enquiries, IP address, browser and device details, website usage, fraud and security information, and other information you voluntarily provide.

Payment card details may be processed directly by a third-party payment provider rather than stored by Peptide Research.

Where reasonably necessary, we may disclose information to payment processors, ecommerce, hosting and cloud providers, couriers, IT and cybersecurity providers, professional advisers, insurers, fraud-prevention providers, regulators, government agencies or law-enforcement authorities where legally required.

We do not sell personal information as a standalone commercial product.

Overseas processing

Some technology, hosting, payment, analytics, customer-service or other providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where required by privacy law, we take reasonable steps in relation to overseas handling of personal information.

Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies support carts, account login, security and checkout; preference cookies remember settings; analytics cookies help us understand website use; and marketing cookies, where enabled, may measure advertising performance or provide more relevant marketing.

You can generally control or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect website functions. Where legally required, we will provide controls for non-essential cookies or tracking technologies.

Marketing communications

Where legally permitted, we may send product, service or business updates. You can unsubscribe using the link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send transactional messages about orders, accounts or security.

Data security and retention

Access and correction

You may request access to personal information we hold about you or correction of inaccurate information. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.

Privacy complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us and we will investigate and respond within a reasonable period. Where applicable, you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
