Nature of products

Products sold as research materials are supplied solely for lawful research, analytical, laboratory, educational, reference or another expressly permitted purpose.

Unless specifically identified otherwise and lawfully supplied for that purpose, research products are not for human consumption or administration, not for veterinary or animal administration, and not sold as medicines or therapeutic treatments. A ‘Research Use Only’ designation does not override Australian regulatory requirements.

Regulatory compliance

Some compounds used in scientific contexts may also be regulated under Commonwealth, State or Territory law. We supply only where we consider the proposed transaction lawful.

We may restrict product availability or destinations, request eligibility or intended-use information, limit quantities, require documents, or decline or cancel an order. Website availability does not mean a product can lawfully be supplied to every purchaser or for every purpose.

Purchaser representations

By ordering a research product, you represent that your information is accurate; you have legal capacity; your acquisition, possession and intended use are lawful; you will comply with applicable laws and laboratory safety procedures; you will not represent a research product as an approved medicine; you will not use it contrary to its stated designation; and you hold any required licence, authority, approval or institutional permission.

We may require evidence supporting these representations before fulfilling an order.

No therapeutic advice

Website content, packaging, certificates, technical documents, articles and communications are for scientific, technical, research or product-information purposes only. They are not medical, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, dosage or veterinary advice, and are not a representation that an unapproved product is safe or effective for therapeutic use.

Product descriptions and laboratory information

We endeavour to keep product information accurate, but science evolves, specifications differ between batches, images may be illustrative and packaging may change. Batch-specific documents should be used to assess a particular batch.

A certificate or analytical report relates only to the identified product or batch. It is not TGA or regulatory approval, approval for human use, proof of therapeutic efficacy, or proof of suitability beyond the expressly stated purpose.

Orders, pricing and GST

An order is an offer to purchase and is not accepted until Peptide Research confirms acceptance or dispatches the goods. We may decline it before acceptance.

Prices are shown in the stated currency. Australian prices are treated according to applicable GST requirements unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice but ordinarily will not affect an accepted order.

Payment

Payment must use an accepted method, and you warrant that you are authorised to use it. We may cancel where payment cannot be verified, fraud is suspected, a transaction is reversed, provider requirements are breached or regulatory concerns arise.

Cancellation and delivery

Contact us immediately to request cancellation. Once processing or dispatch has begun, cancellation may not be possible. We may cancel and refund an order we cannot lawfully or reasonably complete.

Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy and all delivery estimates are indicative only.

Storage and handling

Customers must follow storage, safety and handling information supplied with a product. Except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, Peptide Research is not responsible for deterioration after delivery caused by storage or handling inconsistent with supplied specifications.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peptide Research is not liable for losses arising from unlawful use, improper handling, incorrect storage, contamination after delivery, unauthorised administration, use contrary to labelling or law, or use outside the expressly stated purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.

Intellectual property

Website text, branding, graphics, photography, product descriptions and other original content are owned by or licensed to Purity Labs unless stated otherwise. Content may not be reproduced commercially without permission except where permitted by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and applicable Commonwealth laws. The parties submit to courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in Victoria, subject to any mandatory consumer-law jurisdiction.
