Injury, joints and recovery
Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis affects the whole joint and commonly causes activity-related pain and stiffness. It differs from autoimmune arthritis. Meaningful improvements include walking, stairs, sleep and daily function.
Potential benefits explored
Less joint pain and easier movement.
There are two different pathways to explore: weight reduction with metabolic peptides where obesity contributes, and experimental symptom/repair interest around BPC-157. These should not be described as equivalent cartilage treatments.
Practical interpretation
Joint-specific strengthening, suitable activity, weight management where relevant and established pain care. Severe functional limitation may warrant joint-specialist assessment.
Meaningful outcomes: Walking tolerance, joint pain and everyday function.
